Cusack Gets the Job Done Right

Posted Sunday, September 21, 2008 by Jenna Tucchio
Right wing Emily Cusack demonstrates daily what it means to be attentive to detail. Rebounding a ball off of a strong Windham goalie, Emily collected the ball and slipped it right by keeper Kaitlyn Dunnack for her first goal of the 2008 season. Emily performs daily with strong blocking skills, quick dodges and beautiful cross balls to set up our attack. Playing the right post on the attacking line, Emily keeps the forceful Bears' attack in bounds, playing balls in and around the goalie. Working with her fellow attackers and her midfield line, Emily combines for excellent passing combinations and is relentless against oncoming defenders, keeping her stick, and her mind, strong through the adversity. Against NFA, Emily showed her experience and poise as she collected a hard driven ball from the Wildcat defense and without hesitaion, put it on the stick of teammate Kelly Grills who banged in goal #5 of the day for the Bears. Emily Cusack works with attention to detail every day and helps lift her teammates to victory. For her efforts, she has earned Player of the Week honors for week #2.
